HPMM EOL Facility | Hydro Booster Pump Supply
Project Overview
To supply, assembly, and commissioning of high-capacity Ebara Hydro Booster Systems (Type UEM) for Sensible Solutions Engineering Sdn Bhd. Deployed at the HP Malaysia Manufacturing (HPMM) facility for their End-of-Line (EOL) processing infrastructure, this project integrates advanced variable-speed multi-pump booster sets to provide seamless fluid transport and reliable line pressure.
The Challenge
In high-tech advanced manufacturing plants, End-of-Line (EOL) operations demand absolute fluid stabilization for automated pneumatic tools, final packaging machinery, and system equipment washdowns. Fluctuations in water supply pressure can immediately halt high-velocity automated assembly lines, disrupt sensitive mechanical calibrations, or delay final quality inspection stages. The facility required an intelligent, fully redundant, high-capacity fluid management framework capable of maintaining rigorous pressure benchmarks across shifting operational loads without risking sudden pressure drops.
The Solution
To meet these strict utility requirements, two custom-engineered Ebara Hydro Booster Systems (Type UEM) equipped with variable-speed controllers were integrated into the plant's main pipeline infrastructure:
- Booster Transfer Loop: Managed by a heavy-duty 3UEM (P) 125 LPD4LC 5 30 system. It incorporates three vertical in-line pumps running in a 2-duty, 1-standby layout to deliver a robust capacity of 168.2 m³/hr @ 36.65m head.
- Pneumatic Utility Support: Powered by a 2UEM (P) 125 x 100 FS4KC 22 system. It runs two horizontal end-suction centrifugal pumps in a 1-duty, 1-standby configuration, moving up to 190.5 m³/hr @ 25.0m head.
Both engineered booster units feature integrated 24-litre pressure tanks and stainless steel suction/discharge manifolds with built-in gate and check valves. This multi-tiered configuration guarantees automated load adjustment, energy efficiency, and total mechanical redundancy to safeguard continuous EOL production loops.
