To supply and commissioning of a comprehensive facility-wide fluid handling and pressure management system for BCM Electronics' plant in Kulim Hi-Tech Park. The installation features six heavy-duty Ebara GS series centrifugal pumps alongside a dedicated Hydro booster system to ensure uninterrupted process water flow and stable line pressure.

The Challenge

Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) facilities depend heavily on highly stable environmental controls and continuous cooling to keep precision production lines running without defect. Disruptions in cleanroom climate control, process water loops, or facility pressure can stall output and risk equipment damage. For the Plot 5 expansion, BCM Electronics required an infrastructure setup capable of delivering massive volumetric water flow while maintaining strict pressure equilibrium across multiple plant zones.

The Solution

To meet these complex industrial demands, a multi-tier pumping matrix was engineered for maximum redundancy and efficiency. Main loop fluid circulation is driven by a fleet of six Ebara GS series end-suction centrifugal pumps: three GS 80-400 (22kW) units engineered for optimal high-head distribution, paired with three massive GS 125-400 (37kW) units handling high-capacity volumetric turnover.

To prevent sudden line drops and ensure uniform delivery to secondary process loops, a Hydro Booster set JET-E(P2) 145-3 (0.95kW) was integrated into the system. This combined setup ensures the plant can dynamically scale its fluid management based on active factory loads while securing 100% uptime through built-in equipment redundancy.
